Scouting Report A prototypical defensive defenseman, he was reliable in a shutdown role but did not contribute much offense at the NHL level. Moved the puck well and was a rugged, fearless shot blocker who got in front of everything. He was never fast and lost a little bit of speed late in his career. However, he was capable of playing 20-plus minutes per game for most of his time in the big league. Unfortunately, his fearless approach to playing defense took a toll, as he wore down toward the latter stages of his NHL career. Long Range
