Moves the puck reasonably well and is a solid defender who uses his long stick effectively against attacking forwards. Skates very well for his size. Can log a ton of minutes at any level. While he is rather adept at joining the rush, he needs to learn how to pick his spots better; he often gets caught up ice due to bad pinches.
